DESCRIPTION & LOCATION

Ideally located in the tourist area, the Radisson SAS Resort & Thalasso is situated directly on the beach surrounded by outstanding greenery and waves of palm trees. Djerba-Zarzis International Airport is only a 20-minute drive, while Houmt-Souk is 10 minutes away. The Casino and the Djerba Golf Club are both within a 10-minute drive of the hotel.

Djerba is an island in south eastern Tunisia with miles and miles of sandy beaches. For centuries, Djerba (pronounced and also often spelled Jerba) has enraptured travellers who landed on its shores and labelled it the 'Isle of Forgetfulness'. It has also been said that Djerba is a land of dreams, created by nature to enchant the imagination of the human soul. A combination of clear blue sky, shining white houses (known as menzels), well kept towns, a beautiful countryside, and more than 300 days of sunshine make Djerba the perfect getaway destination.

The island is magnificently diverse and offers a wide range of nautical sports, Thalassotherapy and spa treatments. Excursions into the nearby deserts are very popular with tourists.
 

ACCOMMODATION

We offer 276 large rooms (42-sqm), 14 Junior Suites (64-sqm) and six Ambassador Suites (120-sqm). All rooms and suites are furnished with luxurious amenities and offer views over the sea or the landscaped gardens. Our guests can choose between two elegant colors: GRENAT red rooms and CELADON green rooms. Non-smoking rooms and connecting rooms are also available.

Free Broadband including high-speed and wireless Internet access is available in all guestrooms, the main lobby and in meeting rooms. Rental laptops are available at the Conciergerie.

ROOM TYPES

Standard Room :
All our guestrooms have an exotic and relaxing decor that features warm and natural colours. Confortable and elegant, combining luxury and sumptuousness, our hotel rooms are equipped with all the amenities you would expect of a 5-star establishment. and include individual climate control, digital satellite television, direct line telephone, Free Broadband Wi-Fi internet access, mini bar and in-room safe. The bathrooms have a bath tub and a shower, telephone, hair dryer, an alarm and bathrobes. Our 38 Standard rooms have direct access to landscaped gardens.

Deluxe Sea View Rooms :
All 238 Deluxe Sea view rooms offer spectacular views overlooking the Mediterranean sea from the large 6-sqm balcony where you can unwind with the famous Djerba sunset.

Suite :
We offer 14 Junior and six Ambassador Suites; all equipped for comfort and luxury. All suites have flat-LCD TVs and Jacuzzis in addition to the standard room equipment.

Junior Suites are 64 m², all with connecting rooms and a 9 m² balcony.

Ambassador Suites (110 to 130 m²), are all located on the 2nd floor and come with a large balcony, separate lounge area and have a direct pool and sea view.

Health & Fitness :
We offer a 1,100-sqm metre outdoor swimming pool that is designed to both impress as well as provide an excellent workout area. You can enjoy our sauna, Jacuzzi and indoor pool, all of which are open throughout the year. The resort also offers a variety of sports and activities, including tennis, surfing, and snorkelling. Our fully-equipped fitness centre comes with instructors and trainers that ensure a perfect workout.

We constantly offer golf packages that combine green fees with accommodation. Please check at the reception for more information on how to book tee times.

DINING

Evoking Djerba's heritage and traditions, our restaurants and bars offer a variety of classic and creative menus. We also provide outside catering for events and gatherings for up to 1,000 guests.

Ceramique :
A vivacious atmosphere, sumptuous buffet spreads and live cooking stations welcome you to Ceramique. Start your say with the Super Breakfast buffet where a small section has been allocated to Food for Thought, where we offer well-balanced and healthy dishes, and low carb and cholesterol choices.

Zafferano :
Step into an Italian bistro with the right ambience and perfect Italian food. Zaffarano brings in with it the spirit of southern Italy with its terrace, anti pasta buffet and delightful menu. Eat al fresco or stay indoors - at Zafferano, we promise tantalising meals and elegant service.

Flamingo :
An Andalusian lounge club and restaurant, Flamingo is fashionable and trendy and serves a light cuisine inspired by North Africa. The lounge music is chic, the atmosphere modern oriental and the experience…fabulous.

Turquoise :
A destination in itself, the beachside Turquoise is an outdoor café that is lively during the day and transforms into a trendy brasserie and lounge bar in the evening. The café serves excellent Mediterranean seafood and the best cocktails in Djerba!

Mokka :
Enjoy a friendly and relaxing space in the heart of the hotel at the unique Moorish style lounge, Mokka where we serve snacks, cakes and coffees from Africa.

MEETINGS

We offer seven fully-equipped meeting rooms that cater for a wide range of events, conferences and private parties. The Djerba Ballrooms is ideal for exhibitions, banquets and weddings and can accommodate up to 500 guests for a reception.
